About Us

Fablab – Exeter Maker Space is a community workshop where people of all ages can learn digital fabrication skills, make things and build their confidence.

Joining is simple. Members pay an annual subscription and get training on any of our machines. After that, they can book time on the machines and pay by the hour. Not sure yet? Book a taster session and see what you can make.

We also run group sessions for crafters and tinkerers. Our courses are for young people aged 10 to 16, young people looking for a route into work, and home-schooling families, with sessions linked to the National Curriculum. Small creative businesses use our space to make prototypes and marketing materials. You can also catch our demonstrations at local schools, clubs and craft fairs.

All our profits go back into the maker space. Our volunteers keep it running, and none of this would be possible without them. Come and make something with us!
